My experience has been mostly positive. the quality of life is solid. The only thing I'd watch out for is food scene. Other than that, Would recommend to anyone considering it..

I've lived in Westside for about 10 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
it's been a really good experience overall. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by cultural scene. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- The school system scene is average
The downsides:
- Winters are long and cold
- Urban sprawl is real
Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Hope this helps!.
