Just moved to McDonough, any tips?

Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and You can expect to pay around $1,576 for rent here. Homes are going for about $285,800 on average. The median home value here is around $285,800, which seems about average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The weather takes some getting used to. Am I overthinking this? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

Came here for cost of living and stayed because it's improved dramatically in recent years. The outdoor recreation is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
