The food scene here is better than expected. Tons of great sushi places. it's not perfect but it works for me.

I've lived in Downtown for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- The cost of living scene is better than expected
The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Limited entertainment options
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for families. Definitely worth checking out..
