What McHenry does better than anywhere else

Been meaning to ask this. My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a smaller city city with about 27,774 people. With a population of 27,774, McHenry is a smaller city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Am I overthinking this?

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Internet is tough in most areas.
