Anyone else love living in McLean?

So, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -McLean sits at 130.5 per 100K. Poverty rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. It's a a smaller city city with about 50,232 people. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Pine Hills. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally pretty good. It took about 5 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: surprisingly good. Tons of options if you like Southern.

Happy to answer more specific questions..
