Curious what people think. My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider -McLean sits at 130.5 per 100K. Median household income is $250,001, which feels pretty solid for the area. Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Has anyone dealt with this? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
