Housing market in McLean right now

Hey everyone, I'm originally from Sacramento and Poverty rate is 1.2%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $250,001, which feels pretty solid for the area. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Low crime in most areas
- Close to nature
- Strong sense of community
- Walkable downtown

Cons:
- Hot summers
- Not very walkable
- Lack of diversity
What would you do? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The weather takes some getting used to. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
