Anyone else feel this way? Household incomes average around $70,060 in McMinnville. The unemployment rate is 3.1%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in West. It's excellent for what you get.
Jobs: The market is stable right now, especially in real estate. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like Asian.
