Best neighborhoods to rent in McMinnville?

Anyone else feel this way? I work in automotive and Poverty rate is 11.8%, which is around average. Rent is about $1,290/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $391,100, which seems about average. With a population of 34,493, McMinnville is a smaller city. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it exceeded my expectations. Internet is average in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 10 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Cedar Grove. It's surprisingly good for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in government. If you're in hospitality you might struggle.

People: Generally challenging. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: pretty good. Tons of options if you like Mediterranean.

Definitely worth checking out..

The food scene here is average. Tons of great farm-to-table places. I have mixed feelings honestly.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 3-bedroom. I have mixed feelings honestly. Compared to Tampa it's tough.

I've been living here for 14 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The outdoor recreation is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Definitely worth checking out..
