Longtime lurker here, Median household income is $77,746, which feels about average for the area. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Am I overthinking this? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Happy to answer more specific questions..

Bought a house here in 2015 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is outdoor recreation. it's been a really good experience overall. Worth doing your research before committing.
