How much do you pay for rent in Mead Valley?

Longtime lurker here, With a population of 19,588, Mead Valley is a small town. Homes are going for about $417,700 on average. Median household income is $90,358, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Anyone in a similar situation? Cheers. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Came here for school and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The healthcare is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Denver about 13 years ago. The main reasons were work and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Affordable housing options
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are stable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.
