Rent vs buy in Meadow Woods -what makes sense?

Crime rate is something to consider -Meadow Woods sits at 901.1 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $77,124, which feels about average for the area. Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. What do you all think? Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it's been a really good experience overall. Happy to answer more specific questions..

As someone who grew up here, it was the best decision I ever made. A lot has changed in the past few years though. food scene used to be much developing but now it's pretty good.
