Is Meadowbrook walkable?

Random thought, I relocated for work and It's a a small town city with about 20,383 people. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Any advice would be great. Looking forward to hearing from you all.

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great Mediterranean places. it's been a really good experience overall.

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. I love the pace of life here.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value healthcare, you'll love it. The job market is genuinely challenging and I've found I'm still on the fence after all this time. My neighborhood (Meadowbrook) is developing and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Raleigh, be prepared for the culture shock. healthcare is completely different here. And Limited public transit options.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
