Best hidden gems in Mechanicville

OK so I'm retired and Poverty rate is 17.4%, which is higher than I expected. The median home value here is around $185,900, which is actually reasonable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Anyone in a similar situation? The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Used to live on the Downtown side, now on the Riverside side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I've been living here for 6 years and I'd say I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The outdoor recreation is decent compared to other places I've lived. Overall Happy to answer more specific questions..
