Is it worth buying in Medford?

Been meaning to ask this. My partner and I are It's a a smaller city city with about 59,062 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Thoughts? Appreciate any input.

I've lived in Pine Hills for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Raleigh, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Good healthcare facilities
- The food scene scene is excellent

The downsides:
- Rising rent and home prices
- Homeless population growing downtown

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for couples. Happy to answer more specific questions..
