Alright, Median household income is $118,089, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Anyone in a similar situation? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 3 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 1-bed in Riverside. It's improving for what you get.
Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in tech. If you're in retail you might struggle.
People: Generally pretty good. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: average. Tons of options if you like Vietnamese.
