Hello, We have two kids and With a population of 1,518, Medicine Lodge is a small town. Rent is about $711/month for a decent place. Crime rate is something to consider -Medicine Lodge sits at 341.3 per 100K. Poverty rate is 8.9%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Anyone in a similar situation? TIA! The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to.
