Alright, Been living here since 2021. The unemployment rate is 1.6%, which is pretty low. Median household income is $72,604, which feels about average for the area. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Is this normal for Medulla?

I've lived in The Heights for about 9 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Chicago, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Good internet infrastructure
- The pet-friendliness scene is hit or miss
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Chain restaurants dominate
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I have mixed feelings honestly. When I first moved here from San Diego, I was surprised by safety. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- The outdoor recreation scene is improving
The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Not very walkable outside downtown
Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for young professionals. Hope this helps!.
