Random thought, I'm a remote worker and The median home value here is around $272,900, which seems about average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Would love some local perspective. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want community vibe, then yeah this place is great. But if outdoor recreation matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Came here for work and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The school system is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.
If you value job market, you'll love it. The dating scene is genuinely better than expected and I've found I genuinely enjoy living here. My neighborhood (The Heights) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.
But if you're coming from Nashville, be prepared for the culture shock. cost of living is completely different here. And Rising rent and home prices.
My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
