Hi all, The median home value here is around $430,300, which is pretty steep. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Should I be concerned? The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I'm a physical therapist who relocated here from Nashville about 11 years ago. The main reasons were retirement and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Growing food and restaurant scene
- Strong job market in several industries
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is underrated.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Four distinct seasons
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Limited entertainment options
Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are affordable, gas is pretty good.

Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries
- Active local events and festivals
Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Summers can be brutally hot
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are manageable, gas is better than expected.
Socially, the quality of life is solid. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
