Dog-friendly places in Melville?

Curious what people think. My partner and I are The median home value here is around $778,400, which is pretty steep. With a population of 19,187, Melville is a small town. The unemployment rate is 5.3%, which is about average. You can expect to pay around $3,501 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Real talk - this place is not for everyone, and I think that's OK.

If you value walkability, you'll love it. The weather is genuinely average and I've found it exceeded my expectations. My neighborhood (Uptown) is affordable and I feel safe walking around at night.

But if you're coming from Boston, be prepared for the culture shock. job market is completely different here. And Nightlife is limited.

My advice would be to visit for at least a week before committing. Rent first, don't buy. And explore multiple neighborhoods - they're all different.
