Should I move to Menomonee Falls or stay in San Diego?
Hey everyone, Homes are going for about $341,600 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Would love some local perspective. Appreciate any input. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

I've lived in Springfield for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Phoenix, I was surprised by walkability. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Friendly community, easy to meet people
- Active local events and festivals
- The dating scene scene is pretty good
The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Homeless population growing downtown
Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've lived in North for about 1 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.
there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. When I first moved here from Minneapolis, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.
A few things worth knowing:
- Lots of new development happening
- Affordable housing options
- The outdoor recreation scene is solid
The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Can feel isolated
Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for retirees. Hope this helps!.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The school system is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from Nashville about 15 years ago. The main reasons were work and school.
Pros I've experienced:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Close to major attractions
- Diverse dining options
Cons that are real:
- Winters are long and cold
- Bugs and humidity in summer
Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is decent.
Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Hope this helps!.

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are competitive, gas is solid.
Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
