Hey, Military spouse here. The unemployment rate is 1.4%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 3.6%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Is this normal for Menomonee Falls? The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

I've been here 11 years and I have mixed feelings honestly. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the weather is legit. And if you're into running, this place is tough.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the West side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.
