Cheapest neighborhoods in Mequon?

OK so Homes are going for about $485,300 on average. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Any advice would be great. Thanks in advance!

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is pricey right now, especially in finance. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 14 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: better than expected. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Hope this helps!.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The walkability is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

As someone who grew up here, the quality of life is solid. A lot has changed in the past few years though. dating scene used to be much developing but now it's hit or miss.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Tampa about 1 years ago. The main reasons were family and school.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Lots of new development happening
- Good airport with direct flights

Cons that are real:
- Limited public transit options
- Can feel isolated

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are affordable, gas is improving.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. Feel free to reach out with questions..
