Hey folks, Military spouse here. Rent is about $676/month for a decent place. You can expect to pay around $676 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 16,449 people. The median home value here is around $107,700, which is actually reasonable. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Is this normal for Mercedes? Thanks in advance! People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.
