Housing in Mercedes compared to Indianapolis

Anyone else feel this way? It's a a small town city with about 16,449 people. The unemployment rate is 4.6%, which is about average. Crime rate is something to consider -Mercedes sits at 396.9 per 100K. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say it was the best decision I ever made. The public transit is surprisingly good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Good luck with whatever you decide..
