Anyone regret moving to Mercer Island?

Hey, Homes are going for about $1,884,200 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Mercer Island sits at 30.3 per 100K. The suburbs are where most families end up. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Would love some local perspective.
