Anyone else love living in Meriden?

Hello, Just moved here 18 months ago and Rent is about $1,243/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $68,617 in Meriden. You can expect to pay around $1,243 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.
