Hello, Just moved here 18 months ago and Rent is about $1,243/month for a decent place. Household incomes average around $68,617 in Meriden. You can expect to pay around $1,243 for rent here. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. TIA! Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
