Moving to Meriden with kids -good idea?

First post here. I'm a teacher here and Household incomes average around $68,617 in Meriden. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

My experience has been mostly positive. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The only thing I'd watch out for is cultural scene. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..
