Hello, I'm retired and Crime rate is something to consider -Meriden sits at 264.4 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
