First post here. My family moved here when I was a kid. You can expect to pay around $2,756 for rent here. With a population of 21,816, Merrick is a small town. Household incomes average around $179,415 in Merrick. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Any advice would be great. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
