How is the nightlife in Metamora?

Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm originally from Indianapolis and Crime rate is something to consider -Metamora sits at 56.8 per 100K. Median household income is $99,091, which feels pretty solid for the area. Rent is about $880/month for a decent place. The suburbs are where most families end up. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. What are your go-to spots? The weather takes some getting used to. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 3 years and it's exactly what I was looking for. The thing nobody mentions is nightlife. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The South side vs the Greenfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
