OK so I'm a teacher here and With a population of 5,898, Metropolis is a small town. Crime rate is something to consider -Metropolis sits at 551.3 per 100K. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
