Is Miami still affordable?
Hi all, I'm originally from New York and The unemployment rate is 3.3%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $475,200 on average. Average temperature is around 77°F, so it's warm year-round. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

- Limited nightlife
- High property taxes
- Limited cultural events
Has anyone dealt with this? Thanks in advance! The food scene here is surprisingly good. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.
