Miami Gardens is underrated, change my mind

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,709 for rent here. Poverty rate is 10.3%, which is around average. The unemployment rate is 5.1%, which is about average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Pros:
- Affordable cost of living
- Friendly people
- Close to nature
- Strong sense of community
- Good internet infrastructure

Cons:
- High property taxes
- Boring for young people
- Poor road conditions
- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Far from major airports
Let me know your thoughts. Looking forward to hearing from you all. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.
