Moving to Miami Gardens with kids -good idea?
It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. What neighborhoods would you suggest?

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a accountant who relocated here from San Francisco about 8 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.
Pros I've experienced:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Bugs and humidity in summer
- Far from beaches/mountains
Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are competitive, gas is surprisingly good.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
