Cost of living reality check -Miami Shores

Random thought, Homes are going for about $788,600 on average. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The suburbs are where most families end up. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood.

My experience has been mostly positive. it was the best decision I ever made. The only thing I'd watch out for is nightlife. Other than that, Happy to answer more specific questions..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are tough, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I work in retail here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is improving. Good luck with whatever you decide..

I've been living here for 5 years and I'd say there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The walkability is solid compared to other places I've lived. Overall Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
