Job hunting in Middle Island -tips?
Not sure if this has been asked before, but I'm a 44-year-old police officer and Rent is about $1,774/month for a decent place. The unemployment rate is 2.7%, which is pretty low. It's a a small town city with about 11,086 people. Homes are going for about $347,900 on average. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.
