Job market in Middle Valley for tech?

Curious what people think. I'm a teacher here and You can expect to pay around $1,255 for rent here. Crime rate is something to consider -Middle Valley sits at 227.8 per 100K. Homes are going for about $277,400 on average. Poverty rate is 2.3%, which is pretty low. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Appreciate any input. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from San Francisco and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Highland. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally improving. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: challenging. Tons of options if you like Asian.

No regrets on my end..

The food scene here is pretty good. Tons of great BBQ places. I'm still on the fence after all this time.
