Hey everyone, I'm a 39-year-old contractor and Rent is about $655/month for a decent place. With a population of 2,114, Middleport is a small town. The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

Pros:
- Nice parks and trails
- Close to nature
- Lots of new development

Cons:
- Not very walkable
- Limited dining options
- Limited cultural events
The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up.
