Rent vs buy in Middlesex -what makes sense?

Hi all, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $107,063, which feels pretty solid for the area. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Is this normal for Middlesex? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem decent.

I've been here 1 years and it exceeded my expectations. The thing nobody mentions is traffic. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Fairview side vs the Maple Ridge side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
