First post here. I'm a 50-year-old police officer and The median home value here is around $348,900, which seems about average. Poverty rate is 6.2%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 1.3%, which is pretty low. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Does this match your experience? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The city has invested a lot in new development. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
