Random thought, I'm single, late 20s, and You can expect to pay around $1,357 for rent here. It's a a small town city with about 22,235 people. Rent is about $1,357/month for a decent place. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The weather takes some getting used to. Would love some local perspective. Any help is appreciated. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.
