Been meaning to ask this. I'm a remote worker and Median household income is $73,979, which feels about average for the area. Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Rent is about $1,392/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. Should I be concerned? It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to.
