Rent in Middletown getting crazy
Hey everyone, Just moved here 13 months ago and Average temperature is around 51--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Middletown sits at 82.7 per 100K. Poverty rate is 7.8%, which is pretty low. The weather takes some getting used to. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.
Pros:
- Good schools
- Good internet infrastructure
- Good airport connections
Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Cold winters
- Sprawl everywhere
- Chain restaurants dominate
Am I wrong here? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
