Hey everyone, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Median household income is $54,985, which feels on the lower side for the area. Crime rate is something to consider -Middletown sits at 421.5 per 100K. It's a a smaller city city with about 50,607 people. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable.
