Curious what people think. I'm originally from San Diego and It's a a smaller city city with about 42,461 people. Poverty rate is 7.7%, which is pretty low. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Property taxes are high but you get good services.
