My family moved here when I was a kid. It's a a mid-size city city with about 134K people. Poverty rate is 8.9%, which is pretty low. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if weather matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

I'm a writer and I've found there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is nightlife. the quality of life is solid. Worth doing your research before committing.

Hot take but I genuinely enjoy living here. I know a lot of people disagree but after 12 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..
