Midvale is underrated, change my mind

OK so Poverty rate is 5.1%, which is pretty low. Crime rate is something to consider -Midvale sits at 168.4 per 100K. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? Any help is appreciated. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 14 years ago from Dallas and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Westside. It's better than expected for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in hospitality. If you're in marketing you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
