Quick question about Midway City

Military spouse here. Household incomes average around $64,735 in Midway City. You can expect to pay around $1,439 for rent here. Homes are going for about $723,700 on average. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. Thanks in advance! I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The weather takes some getting used to. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are surprisingly good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem excellent.

I've been here 14 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is cost of living. It's growing and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the traffic is legit. And if you're into camping, this place is decent.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Pine Hills side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Would recommend to anyone considering it..
